Denver, near Downham Market, Norfolk This comfortably furnished 17th Century Grade II listed cottage, with beams and inglenook, stands in its own enclosed garden. Denver has a restored working windmill with café, bakery and craft shops. There is local fishing (in season), a golf club, sailing on the River Ouse and plenty of walks from the door. Downham Market, a mile away, offers shops, cafés restaurants and pubs. In the village (200yds) there is a Post Office/Stores and The Bell pub is friendly, allows dogs and serves food Tuesday to Sunday. |

Area Summary: 30 miles away is the North Norfolk Coast with beaches,
nature and RSPB reserves. Hunstanton offers traditional seaside attractions, Blue Flag beaches, Sealife Centre, watersports and boat trips to visit the basking seal colony. There is also the Queen’s Sandringham Estate and Norfolk Lavender to visit. A few miles to the south is the Cathedral town of Ely with its many historical sites, markets and riverside walk. Further south is the University town of Cambridge. To the north is Kings Lynn that has many areas of historical interest, a good range of restaurants and night time entertainment venues |
